ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mikaella Theofanopoulou [who goes by 'M_THETA'] is an independent Athens based Artist and Designer, born in Tokyo.
After receiving her Master's in Applied Design and Architecture from the Oxford School of Architecture, Mikaella engaged with interior design, drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese aesthetics of the wabi-sabi philosophy.
Her obsessive admiration for the clean lines and organic forms of interiors of unobtrusive beauty, stimulated her to shift her perspective towards the creation of artworks that reveal this kind of authenticity.
