PAPER BOY HERMES
Matte news paper mache stone and marble dust bust resembling Hermes, the God of messages, trade, travel and commerce.
Inspired by Hermes’ responsibility as the God of Messages.
Standing at 32cm tall.
Comes complete in a handmade wooden box.
Son of Zeus and Maia. A child prodigy, animated from the very second he was born. Hermes almost instantly became the fastest and wittiest of all the Gods.
He speeds through both mortal and divine worlds. He also has quite a soft spot for us mortals – consider him one of our guides and protectors.
His reputation on Mount Olympus however, a little different – the ultimate trickster, full of mischief and always depicted dizzying his fellow Deities.
Each stone bust is individually hand made in Melbourne by our family using both stone and marble dust.
As each bust is individually hand made, each carries with it its own details and imperfections.
