HEP010 EAU DE PARFUM
//
[Hephaestus]
A fragrant expression of Hephaestus the God of fire, wood, metal, artisans and volcanoes.
Thrown from a cliff by his Mother Hera at birth [yes, you have read that correctly], the resilient blacksmith of Olympus is a God of paradoxes.
Lame, yet stronger than most. Mocked, yet indispensable. Dwelling deep in smoke, fire and metal, yet creating items of enduring divine beauty.
These paradoxes are a perfumer’s dream. We set out to strike carefully strike the balance and pay Hephaestus the respect he deserves.
Saffron strikes first. Hot from the first breath — molten, radiant and golden like the fires of his forge. Lavender follows and provides clarity among the embers, before sinking into a dense and resinous oud — a nod to the iron, bronze, and steel born of his hands.
At the base, patchouli and musk bind the fragrance into something primal, earthy, and enduring, much like the Hephaestus himself - imperfect yet immortal, scarred yet sovereign in his realm.
This is not about glamour and romance but the raw pulse of creation — the divine art of fire, metal, and willpower.
