As you would know by now, we @ THEMATIKOS are very sentimental and love our traditions.

Our glass THEMATIKOS EGG HOLDER perfectly houses a single RED EASTER EGG CANDLE .

For every glass THEMATIKOS EGG HOLDER purchased, we will include a single RED EASTER EGG CANDLE.

Our RED EASTER EGG CANDLES have been hand made by our family [and by family, we mean Nicole], packaged in a half dozen egg container and scented with our TSOUREKI accord.

They are a nod to our pascal tradition of dying eggs red - a symbol of rebirth and renewal.

They are also a play on the tradition of family and friends cracking red-dyed hard boiled eggs against each other's at Easter time [tsougrisma - which loosely translates to clinking] - again tied back to themes of rebirth, renewal and resurrection.

CANDLE CARE

Each RED EASTER EGG SHAPED CANDLE is individually hand poured and as a result, sizes and shapes of each may ever so slightly vary.

THEMATIKOS recommends that these candles be used for display and décor purposes [but can also be burnt if you so wish].

If you wish to burn these candles, you must be mindful of the following candle care instructions [in addition to the standard candle care instructions below]:

Make sure you place the egg candle in dish or tray to allow the wax to run as it may overflow from the THEMATIKOS EGG HOLDER - this is part of the effect and aesthetic [see photos above]. Please ensure the candles [while burning] are not placed on delicate surfaces as the wax may run.

Failure to follow instructions could result in fire, hazard or injury. Keep candle and flame away from children, animals and flammable materials. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Remove all packaging before lighting candle. Do not burn candle for longer than 4 hour intervals. Always burn candle on a level, stable fire/heat resistant surface. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from drafty areas and keep candle out of direct sunlight and heat.

Use and burn in a suitable tealight candle holder only. We recommend using our THEMATIKOS EGG HOLDER [but note the wax run and overflow as is the intended effect/aesthetic of these candles].

Do not burn candle without it being in a holder and on a heat-resistant surface.

Do not place candle directly on materials as the candle's red wax and dye may stain the material.

INSTRUCTIONS

Keep the wick trimmed to ensure even burning. Ensure candle is free of any foreign or flammable materials including matches and wick trimmings before burning. Keep wax pool free of debris. Do not touch or move candle when it is burning/hot. Store candle in a cool dry place below 25 degrees celsius and keep away from direct sunlight.
